LAND EXCURSIONS with LVT TOUR

Explore more with La Villa Therese.​​​ At reception we are happy to help organise excursions for you, through a third party company or with our very own licenced touring service LVT TOUR. Please see below a list of excursions:

  • Full day tour of Mahé Island, visiting beaches of Mahe, Tortoise farm, Tea plantation, Look out point, Victoria Market, Beau Vallon Beach, Eden Island. (Tour can be tailored to your request)

  • Beach day tour, bespoke tour visiting beaches in the south of Mahé (swim at any beach you like).

  • Walk to L'islette (accessed by walking when tide is low) and waterfall visit.

  • Visit to Takamaka Rum Distillery and or the Craft Village

  • Visit to the Botanical Gardens (Victoria) or the Spice Gardens (Les Canelles)

  • Golf course (within 3 km)

  • Yoga, visit a yoga retreat just 10 minutes drive from La Villa Therese, book for a group, join a class or have a one to one session.

There are many hiking trails to explore in the Mahé Island. We are happy to provide a guide or a lift to any of the suggested trails below.​

Sea Excursions

  • Day trip - Sailing around Mahe island on a Catamaran, lunch provided. 

  • ​Boat excursions to inner islands such as St. Anne Marine National park, glass bottom boat, fish feeding, snorkelling, island exploration, lunch buffet on a small island.

  • One Day excursions to Praslin and La Digue islands.

  • Picnic on Therese Island by local boat owners.

  • Onshore fishing (rent fishing rod, hooks/bait).

  • Offshore fishing on a small boat or yacht (reception will book for you).

  • Scuba Diving, reception can help you book a Scuba Diving Day

Beach Activities

  • ​Snorkelling, reception can advise you on the best spots for snorkelling. Snorkelling equipment for hire at reception.

  • Go Kayaking, hire a Kayak at Anse Royale and explore the coast line within the safety of the coral reef.

  • Sunbathe or relax on the beach, beach chairs available to hire at reception. Towels available for free, please return before departure.

  • Surfing, we can point you in the direction of the local surf school, if you want to catch some waves.

  • Barbecue on the beach.​​
